کج پیله | Kaj Pileh (2025)

Sima Servati is a famous film actress who has decided that men are behind every misfortune in her life, starting with her own husband, whom she suspects of deceiving her. Then, in one unbelievable moment, something happens to her that forces her to see the world very differently. Kaj Peele is Hatef Alimardani's comedy built on that premise.

A Film Star Who Has Given Up on Men

The comedy starts from Sima's certainty. She is successful, admired and convinced that her problems all come from the men around her. The film then turns that certainty upside down through a sudden transformation, and much of the humour comes from watching a character who was so sure of herself live through the consequences. The film plays with the tradition of disguise and gender-swap comedy on screen.

From 1403 Production to Cinemas

Kaj Peele was made in 1403 and opened in Iranian cinemas on 23 Mehr 1404. Alimardani spoke out publicly about restrictions placed on the film's screenings. Even so, it went on to sell strongly at the box office during its run.

A Mix of Dramatic and Comic Actors

Pairing Shakerdoost, who has led many dramatic films, with comic actors such as Sehat and Shabannejad gives the film a mix of styles, and the central idea allows both broad laughs and gentler observations about how men and women see one another.
