Ghanbar and Sanam, a village couple, are tired of their daily quarrels and decide to fix their problems. Ghanbar meets a fraudulent Instagram "doctor" who tells him that the date of their wedding was unlucky. The solution, he says, is to divorce and then marry again on a lucky day. The couple divorce in secret, but the death of the notary delays their second wedding. Trying to keep the divorce hidden while starting a new life together, they stumble into one comic situation after another, until their daughter Hedieh ruins the plan. Khejalat Nakesh 2, subtitled Jodaei-ye Ghanbar az Sanam ("Ghanbar's separation from Sanam"), is an Iranian romantic comedy directed by Reza Maghsoudi.
