About Movie Balit
A twelve-year-old boy grows up with his paternal grandfather after losing his father. His mother has remarried and lives in another province, leaving him without the address he needs to find her. Balit follows his search for that missing connection: a child trying to reach a parent while the adults around him hold information he does not have. Morteza Rahimi wrote and directed this Iranian drama. Amir Reza Faramarzi appears alongside Alireza Osivand and Sogol Tahmasebi. Its central situation is a family separation viewed through the boy’s need to find his mother, rather than an investigation into an unknown person. Knowing that starting point helps distinguish Balit from the other films with similar ticket-related names. The ending and the outcome of the search are left for the film itself.
