Nader, Saber, Behjat and the Inheritance
Nader Parvar, played by Reza Attaran, is a divorced man fighting an addiction. He lives in Karaj with his daughter Darsa, while his former wife Maryam lives apart from them. After the death of their father, Ous Ahmad, Nader, his older brother Saber, his sister Behjat and her husband Tofigh fall out over how to divide what he left: the family home and the bakery. What follows is a string of schemes, quarrels and awkward reconciliations, told with Attaran's typical mix of everyday realism and deadpan humour.

Broadcast and Reception
Bezangah aired on Channel 3 from 1 September to 1 October 2008 during the month of Ramadan. It was popular with viewers but also drew debate at the time: a letter from IRIB's supervisory council asked for the broadcast to be halted, but Channel 3 announced within hours that the series would continue. In later reruns on other IRIB channels, including iFilm, a number of scenes were cut. iFilm also dubbed the series into Arabic for the Al-Kawthar channel.
