One Brother Kills the Other
The killing is only the start of the crisis. The brother who has committed the crime runs away, but his mother persuades him to hand himself over to the law. From that moment the family has to live with both the loss and the consequences.
Three floors, three women
The mother and her two daughters-in-law live on the three floors of one house. One of the brothers is dead and the other must face the law, and the three women are left to hold the household together. Each of the women tries to carry the weight of what has happened on her own, and the film follows what happens to them along the way.
